NeuroCure at FALAN 2026 in Santiago de Chile

NeuroCure was part of the IV FALAN Congress in Santiago de Chile, a great opportunity to meet neuroscientists from across Latin America and beyond, exchange ideas and make new connections.

The congress brought together a diverse and engaged neuroscience community. We were particularly impressed by the energy and enthusiasm of early-career researchers and enjoyed the many conversations and encounters throughout the conference.

We also had the opportunity to take part in events organized by IBRO and to hear different perspectives on the future of neuroscience in Latin America. Discussions highlighted the importance of connecting researchers across the region, of science communication formats to increase public understanding, of creating opportunities for early-career scientists, and of collecting local data to better serve local communities.

For NeuroCure, FALAN 2026 was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about neuroscience in Latin America, share experiences and perspectives, and connect with researchers from the region.

At the same time, we were happy to introduce NeuroCure and Berlin’s neuroscience community to our new contacts in Santiago.
