NeuroCure PI Michael Brecht New Member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities

Together with 13 other personalities from science, NeuroCure PI Michael Brecht from the Bernstein Center Berlin was appointed to the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. The newly elected members received their membership certificates on the occasion of the Academy's Leibniz Day celebration on June 5, 2021.

At present, the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities has 180 Full Members, 137 Discharged Full Members, and 68 Associate Members. Two personalities are honorary members. 67 members are women. The Academy elects its members from all over Germany, as well as abroad. Currently, 161 members are active in Berlin and Brandenburg, 181 in other federal states and 44 are active or resident abroad. Members are elected from all disciplines.
