International Visiting Fellowships
The aim of NeuroCure’s International Visiting Fellowship program is to integrate renowned foreign scientists into the Berlin research landscape to further strengthen the international profile of the Cluster’s partner universities and research facilities, and to foster collaborative projects with NeuroCure Principal Investigators.
Visiting Fellows come to Berlin several times a year to participate actively in the research and teaching activities of the Cluster. This can take the form, for example, of joint projects, the development of new technologies, or scientific lectures that complement teaching.
The Cluster of Excellence supports NeuroCure Visiting Fellows through direct funding and the possibility to work in NeuroCure labs. Associated visiting fellows from funding programs of other Berlin institutions such as the Einstein Foundation Berlin and the Berlin Institute of Health may also work in NeuroCure labs. Some of these international fellows have gone on to receive fellowships from other prestigious institutions such as the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation following successful collaborations with NeuroCure colleagues.
