PREDICT: Prediction of stroke-associated pneumonias
Study Description:
PREDICT was an observation study on the predictive power of clinical parameters and bio-markers regarding stroke-associated pneumonia. This was intended to allow targeted prevention of this life-threatening complication in stroke patients.
Principle Investigator: Prof. Dr. Andreas Meisel (WG Cerebrovascular Diseases, NCRC, CSB, Neurology CCM)
Registration: This study is registered in the database clinicaltrials.gov (NCT01079728).
Course of the study: 02/2010 - 04/2013
