SyMoNe - a study on schizophrenia

Study Description:
Thinking, feeling and perception can be impaired in connection to mental illness. To gain a better understanding of such impairments, the SyMoNe study uses up-to-date imaging techniques to investigate altered responses to reward stimuli in connection with the negative symptoms of schizophrenia.

The aim of this study is to examine brain regions that are important for reward processing over a sustained period of time. Such research can lead towards better methods of treatment and a better understanding of the symptoms of schizophrenia.
