StressBrainAge-Study
Humans adapt to their environment, particularly through changes in the body and brain. This commonly observed phenomena is especially pronounced in childhood. For this reason, both positive and negative experiences as well as environments can produce distinct and long-lasting effects well into adulthood. Our study aims to investigate the link between childhood experiences and inflammatory and ageing pathways in the brain. Additionally, we hope to determine whether these experiences early on in life affect these processes in a favourable or negative way.
