A talk by Emmy Noether candidate Annika Cichy
Speaker: Dr. Annika Cichy, Northwestern University, USA
Bozza Lab, Department of Neurobiology
Topic: Genetic dissection of valence coding in the olfactory system
Date/Time: Friday, Nov. 15, at 9:00 a.m.
Venue: CharitéCrossOver (CCO), Room 04 005
Dr. Cichy uses a combination of molecular, imaging and behavioral approaches to dissect the function of the different classes of olfactory receptors and their role in the perceived valence of odorants. She was recently recognized with the Polak Young Investigator Award for her work on how a specific class of olfactory receptors influences odor perception.
