Cinema for Schools: Still Alice followed by a question and answer session

The linguist Alice Howland is in the prime of her life and has a happy marriage. However, she is increasingly losing her bearings and eventually even confuses people she knows. The 50-year-old professor has Alzheimer's disease, but wants to do everything she can to continue leading a normal life. This is a difficult challenge not only for her, but also for her husband and adult children Lydia, Anna and Tom.

Following the film, Dr. Susanne Wegmann from the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) in Berlin & Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin will be available for a question and answer session on the subject of Alzheimer's.
