Science to Explore: Fact or Fake – Knowledge Between Books

During Berlin Science Week , the “Wissen zwischen Büchern” project brings science into Berlin’s public libraries. Researchers offer insights into current scientific topics and invite visitors to discover new things, ask questions, and engage in conversation.

Real Study or AI Fake? Test Your Scientific Instincts and Discover Why Trust Matters More Than Ever!

In this interactive quiz, visitors distinguish real scientific studies from AI-generated fakes. Together, we then discuss why scientific language alone is not a mark of quality and how peer review, replication, and open science help build trust in research. The format is aimed at teenagers and adults, requires no prior knowledge, and connects with the Cluster of Excellence NeuroCure’s research on transparency and good scientific practice.

This event is part of Wissen zwischen Büchern , a project by the agency con gressa in cooperation with Berlin Science Week and the Association of Public Libraries in Berlin.
