Berlin Brain Days

8th International Ph.D. Symposium

The format of Berlin Brain Days includes:

  • Thematic breadth across the various neuroscience sub‐disciplines
  • International and national experts
  • Ample opportunity for Ph.D. students to present their research in talks and posters
  • Active support by Berlin faculty as hosts and juries

There will be an opening lecture and six mini symposia, each with a keynote speaker and three thematic Ph.D. talks.

This year’s keynote speakers include Christian Lüscher (opening lecture) (University of Geneva) and keynote speakers Adrienne Fairhall (University of Washington), Kalanit Grill-Spector (Stanford University), Hermona Soreq (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem), Frank Bradke (MPI of Neurobiology), Hans J. Markowitsch (University of Bielefeld), and Luiz Pessoa (University of Maryland).
